Vitabiotic’s boldly-named “Ultra Glucosamine” claims it is “optimised for strength”. While this is far from the weakest dose on the market, it also falls some way short of the maximum permissible doses offered by some competing suppliers.
That aside, this is a solid performer offering 700mg of glucosamine in every tablet, with a recommended intake of 2 per day. This gives a total glucosamine dose of 1400mg per day. The benefit of having this dose split across two tablets is that each is considerably smaller than those that pack a similar dose into a single tablet or capsule. This can make them considerably easier to swallow.
Be aware that Ultra Glucosamine does come in quite a small pack size, with each box giving only a single month of supply before you’ll need to re-order. You may therefore want to consider ordering multiple boxes at the same time so you can restock less regularly in the future.
